Chris Paul’s exchange with Lakers’ LeBron James after fouling him

Chris Paul, LeBron James, Rockets, Lakers

Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul and Los Angeles Lakers small forward LeBron James are best friends off the court. On the court, they are two of the fiercest competitors in NBA history and want to win at all costs.

During the second quarter of the Lakers-Rockets game Saturday night at Staples Center, Chris Paul anticipated one of LeBron James’ move perfectly on a fast break because he’s seen it over a million times.

However, the All-Star floor general was still called for a foul, and expressed frustration with the ref, via ClutchPoints’ Tomer Azarly:

Chris Paul is often regarded as a pitbull due to his small stature but tenacious attitude and defense. You know he was extra juiced for this game given that he was going against LeBron James in Los Angeles. It’s always fun when these two future Hall of Famers go at it, and luckily for us, we were able to hear Paul at his finest on the court.

Now that James is in the Western Conference, we are going to see him and Paul play against each other multiple times during the regular-season, and each matchup figures to be must-see television. Hopefully the cameras are always around Paul and James during the games.

The Rockets are hoping this incident isn’t going to alter the rest of their season.
