The last two MVPs are playing amazing basketball again this season. More importantly for Giannis and Harden, the Bucks and Rockets are playing good as teams.
Antetokounmpo is averaging 30.4 points, 13.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists on the season for the Bucks, who once again have the best record in the NBA at 31-5. The Greek Freak is shooting 55.6 percent from the field, 33.1 percent from beyond the arc and 59.9 percent from the free-throw line.
For the third consecutive season, Harden is leading the NBA in scoring. The Beard is averaging 38.2 points. The Rockets star already has one 60-point game this season and has scored at least 50 points five times. Harden is shooting 46.1 percent overall, 38.3 percent from the 3-point line and 86.0 percent from the charity stripe.
The Rockets are 23-11, good for fourth place in the Western Conference standings.
Most pundits have the Bucks getting to the Eastern Conference Finals again. Giannis and the Bucks lost to the Toronto Raptors in last year’s Conference Finals in six games after taking a 2-0 series lead.
