BREAKING: Rockets to part ways with Carmelo Anthony

As expected, the Houston Rockets will part ways with Carmelo Anthony, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Anthony will remain on the roster, but won’t be with the team anymore.
For now, Anthony will remain on the Rockets roster, but will not rejoin the team, sources said. Carmelo Anthony’s 10-game test run with the Rockets failed miserably. The 10-time All-Star has been a negative to the Rockets when he’s been on the floor. Houston has a net rating of minus-9.0 with Anthony on the court and minus-0.2 with him on the bench, per NBA.com. Anthony is averaging 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game on the season while shooting 40.5 percent from the field and 32.8 percent from beyond the arc in the 10 games he’s played in.
