Breaking: Andre Iguodala out tonight for Game 5 vs. Rockets

Golden State Warriors players are reportedly not optimistic about the chances of Andre Iguodala returning for them tonight in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals vs. the Houston Rockets.
After speaking with a few players, they didn’t sound optimistic Andre Iguodala would be playing tonight.

And that feeling has been confirmed by head coach Steve Kerr.
Andre Iguodala will not play tonight. Klay Thompson will.

It is a nice lift that Klay Thompson will play.
Iguodala missed Game 4 with a leg injury that he suffered in the 41-point Game 3 win. The Warriors lost by just three so his absence could have definitely been the difference.
The Warriors likely feel that they blew a golden opportunity regardless after they jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the opening minutes.
Iguodala started the last few games he played as part of the Hamptons 5 lineup the Warriors have been touting. Golden State still has the tools to beat the Rockets but will have to play even better tonight with Iguodala out.
