Bradley Beal throws up 7-second death glare at reporter’s Rockets question

Bradley Beal, John Wall, Wizards, Rockets

Washington Wizards superstar Bradley Beal had another “meme-able” reaction on Sunday following a reporter’s rather silly question. As shared by The Athletic’s Fred Katz, the two-time All-Star made a hilarious face during a video conference call when asked if he keeps up with the Houston Rockets more this season.

While the Rockets and the Wizards do play in different conferences, it’s not that hard to decipher Beal’s supposed interest with the Texas-based team. His longtime Wizards backcourt mate John Wall was traded to the Rockets for Russell Westbrook in the offseason, following longstanding rumors of discord between the two.

After back-to-back injury-plagued seasons, Wall has looked good in the games that he’s been available to play for Clutch City, averaging 17.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.1 steals in eight outings. He made his return to the lineup on Sunday after missing the last five contests.

Westbrook, on the other hand, has struggled to fit in with Beal and the Wizards so far. Despite averaging close to triple-double numbers, the former MVP has been blamed for their poor 3-9 start because of his inefficiency from the field. Like Wall, he returned from injury on Sunday and put up just nine points, eight rebounds, and six assists in the Wizards’ 121-101 blowout loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Bradley Beal was once again the only bright light for the hobbled Wizards, scoring a game-high 31 points on 13-for-29 shooting from the field, adding seven rebounds and four assists. He still leads the NBA in scoring with 34.5 a night.
