Ayesha Curry outraged by Rockets fan’s harassment following Game 5 vs. Rockets

After Game 5 between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets, a game in which the Rockets won at home to take a 3-2 series lead, a video surfaced of a Rockets fan taunting and harassing Stephen Curry’s wife, Ayesha, on their way out of the arena. By all accounts, the fan sounds intoxicated as he processed to taunt Ayesha and Dell Curry, Stephen’s father.

According to Curry, the fan bumped her on the stomach area, and if you didn’t know, Ayesha is currently eight months pregnant with the couple’s third child on the way. She expressed her feelings on Twitter in a response to the video:
The fact that you have the audacity to post this after this man bumped me in my 8 month pregnant belly asking and I quote “doesn’t losing feel like getting punched in the gut?” And continued to follow me and taunt me with his camera is beyond me…but “This is America” right. 🙏🏽

This fan obviously doesn’t represent Rockets fans in general, but this is clearly a disgraceful move on that fan’s part. It’ll be interesting to see if the fan gets any kind of punishment for his actions, but it’ll be unlikely since the incident occurred outside of the Toyota Center.
